Eduard Goodman Bio
Eduard Goodman is is the founder of Modest Coyote Consulting. He is an internationally trained attorney and data protection expert with more than 20 years of experience in global privacy law, emerging technology, cybersecurity, risk management, and AI governance. Eduard takes a principle and culture-based approach to data protection, making compliance with new and emerging regulations less costly, burdensome, and disruptive. He blends a unique consumer and business perspective providing straight forward operational insight and best practices that empowers organizations and their customers.
Eduard has written extensively and spoken around the world on privacy, cybersecurity, and data risk management. He was part of the State Bar of Arizona’s Technology Committee, chaired their Internet and E-Commerce Practice Section (twice), was appointed to the Arizona Supreme Court’s Taskforce on Disinformation in the Judiciary, and is a former fellow for the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS).
While currently based in Arizona, Eduard has lived and worked in Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, and Spain. Eduard is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) with designations covering the US, Europe, and Canada and is currently studying for his AI Governance Professional Certification. When he is not working or spending time with his family and his dogs, Eduard enjoys being outdoors flyfishing, autocross racing, welding, gardening, street art, gourmet cooking, and trying new and crazy things to keep his mind and spirit occupied.
